Edit, revise or rewrite a page
Help CenterIn short
Change copy by hand for free, have a single section revised or regenerated, or rewrite the whole page. What each option does and costs.
Editing a page by hand is free. Revising or regenerating one section costs 5 credits, and rewriting the whole page costs 25 (5 for a short page).
Open a page from the Pages step. You can read it four ways: Preview, Prose for the whole page as editable text, Code for clean HTML, and Prompt for an AI site builder.
Edit by hand, free
- Press Edit on a section, click into the text and type, then Save.
- Or switch to Prose and edit the whole page. Keep each § line as it is; each one marks where a section starts.
Saving is free and keeps the previous text in Versions. After an edit, re-run the review to score the new text; that is free too.
Revise a section, 5 credits
Press Revise on a section and write what should change, the way you would tell a copywriter. For example, "Mention that we also deliver to hospitals, and keep it shorter." Only that section is rewritten, then reviewed again.
Regenerate a section, 5 credits
Regenerate writes one section again from your documents and the brief, without an instruction. The page meta and every other section stay as they are.
Rewrite the whole page, 25 credits
Under More actions, Rewrite this page writes the page again from your documents, voice and brief, then reviews it. A short page costs 5. The current text stays in Versions, so you can go back.
Revising, regenerating and rewriting need an active plan.
Search details
The SEO tab holds the title tag, meta description and main keyword. Edit them by hand for free. Both lengths must stay inside the range shown to save, because every export relies on it.
If a rewrite does not finish
The last written copy stays on the page, and any credits the rewrite took are returned. Try again; it usually works the second time.
