What we collect
We collect the account details you provide when you sign up, such as your name and email address. We also store the brand documents you upload so the product can generate copy from them, along with usage logs that record which features you use and when. Payment information is processed by Stripe on our behalf; we retain only billing metadata such as your plan and invoice history, never your full card number.
Google account data (Sign in with Google)
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information from your Google account: your name, your email address, and your profile picture. We use this data solely to create your SimpleCopywriter account, to authenticate you when you sign in, and to display your name and picture inside the app. This is the only Google user data our application accesses; we do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or any other Google service. Your Google profile data is stored securely in our authentication provider (Supabase), is never sold, is never used for advertising, and is never shared with third parties except the processors listed below that are required to operate the service. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account security settings, and deleting your SimpleCopywriter account permanently removes this data. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your documents stay confidential
The documents you upload are sent only to API-tier AI providers that contractually do not retain your content for model training. We never use your documents to train our own models or any third-party model, and we do not share them with anyone outside the processors needed to run the service. When you delete your account, the documents you uploaded and the content generated from them are permanently removed.
Service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted processors to operate the service. Supabase provides our database, authentication, and document storage; Railway hosts the application; and Stripe processes payments. AI generation is performed by Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI on their API tiers; Resend sends transactional email such as sign-in and billing notifications; and Sentry collects error diagnostics so we can keep the service reliable. Each processor receives only the data it needs to perform its function.
Your rights (GDPR & KVKK)
We process your personal data on the lawful basis of performing our contract with you and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service. You have the right to access the personal data we hold, to correct it, and to request its erasure. Erasure is available to you immediately by deleting your account in Settings, which permanently removes your data. These rights apply under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, for our users and customers in Turkey, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to run the service: an authentication cookie that keeps you signed in, and a language-preference cookie that remembers your chosen interface language. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.
