A second language version
Help CenterIn short
Write the same site in English and Turkish. Each language is planned and written separately from the same brand profile, never machine translated.
A website can have an English and a Turkish version. Each one is planned and written separately in its own language, and nothing is machine translated. Planning the second version costs 40 credits, and its pages cost the same as in the first language.
Add a language
- Open the brand panel and find Language versions under Brand settings.
- Press Add English or Add Turkish, whichever language you do not have yet.
- On the Pages step, the new language says its version is not planned yet. Press Plan the English version (or the Turkish one).
The new version gets its own sitemap, planned and written in that language from the same documents and rules. You then see the total before anything is written, just as with the first language.
Your voice in the second language
Your voice profile is read from your documents in the brand's main language, so it is not used for the other language:
- The second version is written in a neutral, professional tone.
- In its review, the voice part of Brand voice and rules is skipped and left out of the score. Your rules and your banned punctuation are still checked. When there is nothing else to check, it shows Not checked for this language.
- The other checks run as usual.
Switching between languages
The Pages step has a language switch. The main language is marked. Each version has its own pages, scores and review.
Remove a language
For the language that is not the main one, Remove English (or Remove Turkish) deletes that version's pages and their editorial reviews. The main site and your brand profile stay as they are. You type DELETE to confirm.
Delete the site copy
For the main language, the same place offers Delete the English site copy (or the Turkish one). It deletes the sitemap, every page, version history and editorial reports. Your brand profile, blog and social posts stay. You type DELETE to confirm, and it cannot be undone. You can plan the site again afterwards.
The language of the interface
The language you use the app in is a separate setting. It changes the buttons and labels, never the copy we wrote. See the article on your account and language.
