Plan your sitemap
Help CenterIn short
We plan every page your site needs from your documents and sector, each with a clear job and a copywriting framework. What planning costs and gives you.
Planning the sitemap costs 40 credits and takes 2 to 4 minutes. We read your documents and your sector profile, then propose every page the site needs, each with a clear job and a framework.
Before you plan
Open Website from the brand panel. The first step is Sitemap. Planning needs three things:
- An active plan.
- Your target market, confirmed on the Sector & market step.
- Enough material in your documents. If there is not enough yet, the step asks you to add documents first.
Planning the site
- Press Plan my site. The button shows the cost and your balance.
- Wait 2 to 4 minutes. A brand with many documents can take 3 to 4. You can leave the page while it runs.
- The plan opens on the same step.
If planning fails, the credits go back to your balance. Press Try again. It usually works the second time.
What each page gets
- Title and Address.
- What this page must do. A short brief the writer follows.
- Framework. The copywriting structure the page is written on, for example AIDA, PAS or StoryBrand.
- Length. A full page or a short page. See the article on full and short pages.
The top of the list shows how many pages there are and what writing all of them would cost.
Pages we suggest adding
Every sector has pages its buyers expect to find before they get in touch. If your plan has nothing that does that job, we suggest the page. Important marks a page buyers in your sector rarely sign without. Press Add or Dismiss. Adding is free. Writing it costs the same as any other page.
List or map
Switch between List and Map. The map shows the same plan as a tree. Drag a page onto another page to place it under it.
Products get their own pages
Products and services we found in your documents can each get a page, written only from what your documents say about them.
Edits to the plan are free. Credits are spent only when you plan again or when pages are written.
