Languages in your exports
Help CenterIn short
Your copy keeps the language it was written in. Headings and labels in the file follow your interface language. How the two settings work together.
An export never translates your copy. The copy stays in the language it was written in, and only the file's headings and labels follow the language you use the app in.
The language of the copy
The website copy is written in the language of its version, English or Turkish. If your site has two language versions, choose one under Language on the Deliver step.
To have the copy in another language, add a second language version of the site. It is planned and written separately in that language. See the article on language versions.
The language of the file's labels
Section headings, the labels of the editorial notes, and the labels in the index and the brand summary follow your interface language.
For example, if your interface is in English and your site copy is in Turkish, the file's labels are in English and the copy stays in Turkish. When the two differ, the Deliver step shows a note saying which is which.
Changing the interface language
Open Settings and change Interface language under Preferences. The setting changes the app and the labels in your exports. It never changes the copy we wrote.
Blog and social posts
Blog and social post exports follow the same rule: the copy stays as written, and the labels follow your interface language.
